Our Journey
Like any good bar story, ours started with a leap of faith and a strong pour of determination. When we opened in 2021, the world was just finding its footing again, and so were we—one refill, one customer, one small victory at a time.
Launching a new business during such an uncertain time wasn’t easy, but it shaped who we are. It taught us resilience, creativity, and the power of community. We saw firsthand how much people wanted not just cleaner, safer products—but also connection, comfort, and a sense of hope.
From day one, our mission has been to make sustainable living feel approachable, affordable, and a little bit cheeky. Styled like a bar with Canadian-made soaps on tap, The Refill Bar isn’t just about refilling bottles—it’s about refilling spirits, reducing waste, and building a local movement that proves small changes add up to big impact.
